Using Whole Body Vibration for cellulite treatment
What is the quickest way is to get rid of and/or prevent unsightly cellulite?
In the past, conventional exercise would have been the primary recommendation (and in fact, it is still a great way), but conventional exercise needs to happen on a regular basis to really help and it involves a considerable amount of time and commitment. Now the #1 recommended way to use Whole Body Vibration for cellulite treatment
What is cellulite?
Cellulite is fat that is stored in our body. It’s “static fat” that appears in places where our circulation is naturally low, which means it hardly ever gets used as energy by our body. What you need to do is get your body movement going which is why I mentioned that exercise will help you with that.
What is Whole Body Vibration training and therapy?
Whole Body Vibration training and exercise is done on a piece of equipment known as a Vibration plate (or platform) that you can use in the privacy, comfort, and convenience of your own home.
How Whole Body Vibration exercise works…
You place your body on the Whole Body Vibration platform and it vibrates, stimulating the muscles to reflex far faster than you can ever achieve with normal exercise.
You continue to do your favorite exercises like squats, lunges, bicep curls, pushups etc. and let the vibration do all the work for you, and because it moves your body’s muscles faster than you ever could. You only have to do this in short bursts (e.g. 10 minutes) to get the same result as if you had an hour’s worth of conventional exercise!
So how do you go about getting rid of cellulite with Whole Body Vibration training?
Well, you stand on the machine and as the vibrations move through your legs it “breaks apart” the fat deposits in your thighs and other places where it is commonly stored.
Research has actually been conducted to prove the effectiveness of Whole Body Vibration training and the reduction of cellulite.
Dr. Horst Frank MD. (Dermatologist, allergy specialist) from Germany did research on the effectiveness of Whole Body Vibration training to help people to rid themselves of cellulite. He took a group of people and divided them into three different groups. One group used Whole Body Vibration training, another took regular “conventional” exercise in addition to the vibration training and the third group did nothing.
Of course, the third group didn’t notice any changes to their cellulite but the group who went through Whole Body Vibration training saw an average reduction of 25.68% after a total of 11 hours (10-minute sessions 3 – 4 times a week for a six month period).
The exercise group performing additional conventional exercises saw a reduction of 32.30% but it took them 40 hours of training lasting 45 minutes per session, 3 – 4 times a week for over a six month period.
So you see, whether you exercise regularly or take part in Whole Body Vibration training they will both help you get rid of and reduce cellulite but one is obviously much faster and more effective than the other.
If you, like most of us, would prefer to see results in 11 hours after giving up only 10 minutes of your time a few times a week (instead of 45 min.) then Whole Body Vibration training is definitely for you!
