How to Use Equipment

Our vibration platforms have a range of operating speeds to cater to all types of needs including those of the elderly, those who are in rehabilitation through to the professional athlete.

The way you decide to use your vibration exercise machine will depend on your personal preference. You can simply stand on the machine or you can perform a host of different activities or poses on the platform including yoga. It is up to you to decide.

Some users will start at a very low level and increase slowly and gradually while others will start at more of a medium level and increase their workouts more rapidly. It is up to you.

For first time users we recommend the following guidelines:

Lower Oscillating Speed Range

In general, the lower speed range is beneficial for bone strengthening, balance control, circulation, and abdominal exercises and for those who are rehabilitating, frail or overweight.

Mid Oscillating Speed Range

This range is helpful for improving circulation, reducing excess toxicity in your cells, combating depression or a general feeling of sluggishness and loss of motivation in.

High Oscillating Speed Range

These upper speeds are for the physically strong, healthy people and those in sports training. It can also be used by those who have been using their vibration machines for a few weeks and feel comfortable in escalating their speed and workouts.

For weight loss, use the platform between 4-8 times per day for duration of between 10 – 20 minutes on a lower speed.

Starting the Machine

  1. When standing on the platform for the first time, stand with your feet hip width apart, toes pointing in slightly so the outer edges of your feet are parallel with the edges of the platform.
  2. When doing more advanced exercises and postures, turn the machine on before moving into these positions.
  3. Do not use the vibration platform for more than 20 minutes in any 1 session.

Kwikfit Training Protocol / Instructions

In order to maximize the desired results in your physical health and well being from your new Kwikfit4u Whole Body Vibration fitness machines, a few training tips are required prior to starting your training program.

WBV training depends on both the frequency and intensity of the vibrations. The higher the amplitude, the more the muscles and brain have to “contract” in order to appropriately adjust to the mechanical movement of the plate. This increase in amplitude can lead to a more powerful training effect in some circumstances.

Whole Body Vibration training can cause upwards of 80 percent muscle fibers to fire, as contrasted with conventional training, which usually engages only 40-60 percent of muscle tissues. In addition, supporting musculature that may be difficult to consciously activate can be stimulated using this technology. As a result, the whole body neuromuscular system can be stimulated at once and training time significantly reduced, since many muscles are engaged simultaneously and not one muscle group after the other, as occurs in traditional training techniques.

The WBV Kwikfit training protocol is similar to any other form of training. Build slowly by using short, low-intensity training periods and gradually work up to higher intensity levels. Our Kwikfit4u Whole Body Vibration fitness machines do more than just build strength or increase metabolism. They also detoxify the internal organs and cells. Consequently, sore muscles are not our only concern for training slowly when initially starting your whole body vibration training.

Symptoms of detoxification caused by the release of cellular waste into the blood stream can also occur. Headaches, flu-like symptoms, fatigue and constipation can all be potential symptoms associated with detoxification of the body.

For most people, the slow build approach to WBV training will prevent most of these reactions. WBV training with the Kwikfit WBV machines stimulates hormone production, improves lymphatic flow and increases cellular absorption of nutrients. Everyone will respond differently to the same stimulation. So, these guidelines may not be applicable for all people or all circumstances. Listen to your body and use common sense when it comes to any new therapy or exercise program.

Whole body vibration can be as muscularly taxing as any intense workout with weights, Pilates, or yoga. The typical recovery period after conventional training is about 1-2 days. However, with the Kwikfit system training recovery time is significantly reduced because the exercise accelerates the brain's adaptive potential leading to faster recovery. In other words, the brain can respond and adapt to the vibrations or any workout stimulation faster because it is better organized and connected like a smooth-running computer.
